The awards recognize innovative strategies for securing media coverage, the ability to remain calm during a crisis, and a knack for crafting engaging stories.
CVR was recognized in the cause marketing category for its work on The Nature Conservancy’s “Human:Nature” campaign, which focused on creating a positive and profound impact on Indiana’s future through four main initiatives – protecting important places, providing food and water sustainability, inspiring people for nature and driving climate solutions.
CVR secured more than 50 earned media placements online, print newspaper and broadcast outlets that reached communities across the state of Indiana including Bloomington, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Lafayette, South Bend and Terre Haute. These stories delivered more than 555 million earned media impressions, helping TNC raise awareness and educate Hoosiers on the importance of protecting the environment in Indiana and across the globe.
The Nature Conservancy in Indiana set a goal of raising $48 million by 2025 to support these efforts. As a result of the PR and Social Media campaign, coupled with TNC’s donor outreach, the organization is now 85% towards its fundraising goal.
